Walking Globes 24 Inch Diameter
These Walking globes or balance balls are great for both circus arts instruction and juggling performances. Walking globes are a natural for kids and will help improve balance and coordination skills. They can be used in a variety of ways from enhancing stage shows to getting a performer higher up off the ground to work crowds in street shows more effectively.
Renegade's walking globes are made of one-piece, plastic construction eliminating the color being worn off or chipped away. Our 24 inch walking globe weighs 25 pounds. The advantages of the 24 inch globe are that it fits in your car and through the door of your gigs, can be checked as airline baggage and can be shipped via normal carriers. This globe has faster action than one of a larger size, but may be slowed down by using it on padding or carpet.
We now have in stock at our Santa Cruz location 30 and 48 inch globes. The advantages of the larger sizes are slower action and easier control for globe walking, greater elevation for working crowds, an extra large aesthetic statement, and visibility when working in stadiums and larger venues. Disadvantages are transportation requirements, special and more expensive shipping, inability to get into doors or vehicles, heavier to load into vehicles (48 inch will need a lift gate, ramp, forklift or several people), and possibly needing assistance when mounting.
Shipping cost for the 24 inch balls are around $100-125 for most US locations.
